Melissa Quinn has a diverse work experience with a focus on corporate strategy, operations, and leadership. Melissa is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Risk Labs Foundation and UMA. At UMA, they also held the position of Chief of Staff. Prior to their current roles, they worked at Left™ where they held various positions including Director of Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development Manager, and Employee Experience Manager. Melissa also served as the Director of Corporate Strategy at RightMesh AG, a project and company founded by Left. Additionally, they were the Director of Canada at the Blockchain Users Group (BUG). Melissa's earlier work experience includes a role as a Training and Development Leader at Browns Restaurant Group.

Melissa Quinn has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Simon Fraser University's Beedie School of Business. Melissa also has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from The School of Economics and Management, Lund University.

In addition to their degrees, Melissa has obtained several certifications. In June 2020, they completed the "New Models of Business in Society" course from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and coursera. In May 2020, they finished the "Becoming a changemaker: Introduction to Social Innovation" course offered by Coursera and the University of Cape Town. Melissa also completed the "Communication Strategies for a Virtual Age" course from the University of Toronto and Coursera, as well as the "Machine Learning for Business Professionals" course by Google Cloud and Coursera, both in May 2020. Furthermore, they became a Hootsuite Certified Professional in July 2016, certified by Hootsuite Media Inc.
