Andy Scherer

Andy Scherer is an experienced professional with a strong background in network and IT infrastructure. Currently serving as Teamleader for Network & Protection Design at UMB AG since March 2019, Andy also holds the positions of Leading Expert and Senior Network & Security Engineer. Previously, Andy was the Head of Network & Support Team at Klein Computer System AG and served as a network engineer. Andy's earlier roles include responsibility for IT customer service at CYP and heading IT at coresystems, managing global IT infrastructure. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Communications & IT from Schweizer Technische Fachschule Winterthur, a Swiss Firefighter Instructor certification, and a Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training as an automation engineer from Berufsfachschule BBB Baden.
