Simon Berger

Simon Berger is an experienced professional currently serving as Head of Strategy at UMB AG since June 2025. Prior to this, Simon was Vice President of Strategy at Nexxiot from July 2020 to May 2025, overseeing corporate development and strategic initiatives for a leading IoT sensor and data analytics provider in maritime and rail logistics. Previous roles include Senior Associate in Deals Strategy at PwC Switzerland and PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance LLC, as well as various positions in consulting and finance. Simon holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management from Copenhagen Business School, an MBA in Strategic Management from UBC Sauder School of Business, and dual Bachelor degrees in Finance & Accounting from Goethe University Frankfurt and Fudan University.
