Bill Chew

Bill Chew is a Data Scientist at UMB Bank since March 2024, with a strong background in statistical analysis and data modeling. Previously, Bill worked at Berkeley Research Group LLC as a Consultant and Senior Associate, where skills included developing R, SAS, SQL, and Python programs for data mining and conducting sensitivity testing for expert reports. Prior experience as a Statistical Analyst at BioStat Solutions involved creating analytical programs and implementing predictive modeling in clinical trial data. Bill also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Iowa, a Business Analytics and Forecasting Intern at US Foods, and a Research Data Analyst at Children's Mercy Hospital. Bill holds a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics and Economics from Kansas State University.
