Daniel Waters

Daniel Waters has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Daniel currently works at UMB Bank as a Lead Fund Accountant for Alternative Investments, where they are responsible for reviewing and performing accounting and administrative functions for investment and investor transactions. Daniel also trains and oversees fund accounting staff and ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Prior to this, they worked at BNY Mellon as a Lead Analyst and Senior Alternative Investment Fund Accountant, conducting accounting services for clients and funds, driving service improvement plans, and providing input into methodologies. Daniel also has experience working at JPMorgan Chase as an Outside Portfolio Manager Support Specialist, where they served as the primary contact between 3rd Party advisors and internal business partners. Additionally, they worked at Barclays Bank as a Management Information Systems Analyst and Account Manager, preparing and distributing performance reports, analyzing variances, and evaluating risks of customer charge-off. Daniel started their career as an Accounting Assistant at R.J. Waters & Associates, Inc. in 2008.

Daniel Waters holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Wilmington University, which they obtained between 2012 and 2015. Prior to their MBA, they completed their undergraduate education at the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware, earning a Bachelor's degree in Finance from 2005 to 2009. Daniel also obtained a Diploma from Mount Pleasant High School in 2005.
