David Pauly

David Pauly has extensive experience in portfolio and commercial management, with a focus on analyzing the viability and profitability of businesses to inform lending decisions. At HTLF from September 2018 to February 2025, and previously at Central State Bank CSB from October 2008 to August 2018, David executed financial and risk analyses, underwrote credit approval presentations, and collaborated closely with Relationship Managers to enhance client relationships. Prior to these roles, David worked as a Registered Representative at New York Life Insurance Company from January 2006 to August 2008, where financial planning and client service were key responsibilities. Currently, David serves as a Commercial Portfolio Manager at UMB Bank, continuing a career defined by a strong financial acumen and dedication to client advisement. David holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management, Real Estate, and International Business from the University of Northern Iowa, alongside certification from the IBA Consumer Credit School.
