Jim Rine

Jim Rine is the current President, and Chief Executive Officer, of UMB Bank, n.a. at UMB Financial Corporation. Prior to this role, Rine served as the President of Commercial Banking from December 2017 to October 2018, where they oversaw the commercial banking strategy and leadership across UMB’s footprint. Rine has also served as the President of Kansas City Region from December 2011 to December 2017, during which time they were responsible for managing the Kansas City commercial banking teams and partnering with other bank line of business leaders to implement the strategic plan for Kansas City. Additionally, Rine has served on the advisory board for several UMB Bank regions, including Metro, South, Johnson County, St. Joseph and UMB Financial Services. Prior to their current role, Rine served as UMB Commercial Lending from April 1994 to December 2011.

Jim Rine received their Bachelor's degree in Finance from Missouri State University.

Jim Rine reports to Mariner Kemper, Chairman, President & CEO. They are on a team with Ram Shankar - EVP & CFO UMB Financial Corporation, Tim Murphy - Director, and L. Joshua Sosland - Director.
