Matthew Coffelt

Matthew Coffelt, MHA, MHI has over 17 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Matthew began their career at Cerner Corporation as an Application Developer and Project Manager, specializing in Millennium Objects. After that, they joined SKAGGS COMMUNITY HOSPITAL as an Assistant Director of Clinical Applications. Matthew then worked at the University of Kansas Medical Center as an Assistant Director, responsible for the implementation of EMR and Pharmacy Services. Following this, they joined Commerce Bank as the Assistant Director, Head of Development for Commercial and International Banking, Treasury Products. Currently, Coffelt is working at UMB Bank as the Executive Vice President, Healthcare Services CIO, and Digital Delivery Director.

Matthew Coffelt, MHA, MHI obtained a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2007. Prior to that, they earned another Master's degree in Health Informatics from the same institution between 2003 and 2005. For their undergraduate education, Coffelt attended Missouri State University from 1998 to 2002, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. In addition to their academic achievements, Coffelt holds various certifications, including "Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions" from Microsoft in 2014, "ITIL Expert Managing Across the Lifecycle (ITIL-MALC)" from Microsoft in 2013, and an "Epic Certified EMR / Pharmacy / Reporting" certification from Epic in 2005. Matthew also obtained a "HIPAA" certification from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004 and became "Cerner Certified - Pharmacy / Powerchart / Millenium Objects" through Cerner Corporation in 2002.
