The UMBC Mock Trial Program is UMBC's most successful intellectual sport, and is the premier speech and debate organization on campus. Founded in 2012 after a period of dormancy, UMBC Mock Trial quickly rose to the top of the collegiate Mock Trial ranks. The program has advanced to ORCS every year since 2015, has advanced to Nationals five times since 2017, and won the 2021 American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) National Championship Tournament. Visit us at UMBCMockTrial.com/tryouts to learn how you can join the legacy and become a part of our next championship team.
