As a Managing Partner and Founder of Santa Barbara Venture Partners since August 2020, Dan focuses on mid-stage companies, providing strategic support for customer acquisition and marketing. Dan's investment portfolio includes notable companies such as Jackpocket, which achieved a $750 million acquisition by DraftKings, and Umbra, recognized for its advanced space radar technology. Additionally, Dan serves as a seed investor in Apeel, valued at over $2 billion for its food waste prevention technology, and SafeGraph, which specializes in machine learning data sets. Other investments include Bark, Repurpose, Inc., and advisory roles at SupportYourApp, which has scaled significantly in the customer support sector.
