Jeffry Ely

Jeffry Ely is a multi-domain engineering leader with expertise in software development, data science, AI/ML, geospatial technology, aerospace, optical remote sensing, and simulations. They are currently a Senior Software Engineer at Umbra, after previously serving as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon. Jeffry has held significant roles including Senior Geo-informatics Fellow at SSAI, where they led a team to integrate geoinformation services and developed a Python package under NASA's guidance. They earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering from Old Dominion University.
