Scott Okuma

Director of Spacecraft Software at Umbra

Scott Okuma has been working in the engineering field since 2012. Scott began their career at CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation as an Electrical Engineer. In this role, they were an RF test automation engineer, using various lab equipment and programming in C/C++, Matlab, and LabVIEW. From 2015 to 2017, they were an Electrical Engineer at NAVAIR, where they were an FPGA Engineer creating a DRFM jammer and a Radar Systems Engineer with responsibilities including software development, RF hardware repair, RF layout/Design, test planning/execution, radar calibration and operations. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Digital Design Engineer at Raytheon. Currently, they are the Director of Spacecraft Software and Senior Digital Design Engineer at Umbra.

Scott Okuma graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2014 with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
