Yu Xu

Yu Xu is a Senior Principal Process Integration Engineer at United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) since December 2015, focusing on yield enhancement for the 40nm process, including activities such as best known methods development, cross-fabric benchmarks, and yield ramp-up of new products. Prior to this role, Yu Xu held positions as a Principal Process Integration Engineer and Senior Process Integration Engineer. Experience also includes work as a Product Engineer at Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd (SSMC) and as a Test Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES. Yu Xu obtained a Master of Science in Microelectronics from the National University of Singapore in 2014 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution in 2010.
