Tuncay E. Dogan

Tuncay E. Dogan serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Data Science, AI & Computer Science at the University of Maryland Global Campus since December 2022, delivering courses on data science and machine learning to over 200 undergraduate students. Previously, Tuncay has held multiple instructor roles at Southern Methodist University, Northwestern University, and the University of Minnesota, teaching a broad range of technical subjects including Python, SQL, and machine learning, while achieving high student satisfaction rates. In addition to teaching, Tuncay has experience as a Director of Technology at StocksToTrade, Inc. leading a global team and implementing AWS solutions for operational optimization, and as a Data Scientist with expertise in analytics and programming. Tuncay possesses a Master's degree in Finance from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Global Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, along with specialized training from NYC Data Science Academy.
