Janis Lanning

Janis Lanning serves as a teacher of elementary gifted education for Richmond, MO public schools, a role held since August 2008. Additionally, Janis operates as a freelance writer and speaker, crafting curriculum, articles, and Bible studies focused on education and women's encouragement since August 2007. Janis has also been a curriculum writer for Urban Ministries, Inc. since December 2006, developing materials for teachers and church programs. Prior experience includes a long tenure as a teacher for North Kansas City Schools, covering a range of grades and subjects. Janis holds a Master’s degree in Reading Education from the University of MO in Kansas City and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from William Jewell College. Furthermore, Janis is an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics, Inc. since April 2003.
