Joy Wu is a Ph.D. student in Survey and Data Science at the University of Michigan, having begun this role in August 2025. Prior to this, Joy accumulated extensive experience in data analysis and research, serving as an Analyst and Research Assistant at the Bank of Canada from January 2021 to July 2025. Additional experience includes working as a Data Analyst at Citylitics Inc. in 2020, a Business Analyst at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan in 2019, and various Analyst roles at BMO Financial Group and CPP Investments in 2017 and 2018. Joy holds a Master of Science in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Statistics and Mathematics from the University of Toronto, along with an academic exchange in Statistics from the National University of Singapore in 2019.
