Lu Fred has extensive experience in market and technology intelligence, currently serving as the Market and Technology Intelligence Manager at Umicore since March 2019, focusing on strategic foresight, competitive landscaping, value chain mapping, and new business incubation. Previously held a position as Business Development & Sales Manager, specializing in rechargeable battery materials and battery recycling. Prior to Umicore, Lu Fred worked at LCY Group from December 2016 to February 2019 in sales within the electronic-solvent sector, and was a Senior Engineer and R&D Engineer at TSMC from August 2010 to March 2015, concentrating on lithography R&D processes and optical proximity correction. Lu Fred holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University, obtained between 2007 and 2009.
