Sam Schouterden

Sam Schouterden is a skilled professional in process development and engineering with a focus on refining and recycling technologies. Currently serving as the Process Development Manager for BCM at Umicore since September 2019, Sam has contributed significant expertise in refining processes. Previously, Sam worked as a Process Engineer in R&D at Umicore, specializing in recycling and extraction technologies. Additionally, Sam gained experience as a Junior Process Engineer during an internship in the polyurethane division at Huntsman Corporation, where the focus was on literature review concerning alkoxylation catalysis. Sam holds a Master of Science in Bioscience Engineering with a concentration in Catalytic Technology from KU Leuven, completed in 2019.
