Alejandro Serrano Saunders has a diverse range of work experience. In 2018, they worked as a Psychology Tutor at Tutorful, creating and conducting lessons for A Level Psychology students. In the same year, they also served as an Account Manager & Research Intern at Cognisess, overseeing client accounts and conducting research for product development proposals.

In 2019, Alejandro worked as a Research Aide at UC Santa Barbara, conducting literature reviews and reporting to a PhD student on potential experimental methodologies. Alejandro also served as a Professional Chair of Sigma Eta Pi, a co-ed entrepreneurship fraternity.

In 2019, Alejandro was a Research Assistant at the Università degli Studi di Milano, where they conducted research on the neurophysiology of sleep, dreams, and psychosis. Alejandro also prepared manuscripts for academic publications.

In 2020, Alejandro became Co-Editor-In-Chief at The 1451 Review, where they directed the interdisciplinary strategy of the journal and led a team of editors. Alejandro also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Glasgow, formulating research hypotheses and collecting participants for studies on student sleep and mental health.

In 2021, Alejandro participated in the What If Fellowship and worked as a Health & Well-Being Growth Program Fellow at Google for Startups EU. Currently, they are a Co-Founder & Chief Scientific Officer at uMore, an AI-powered mental well-being tracker.

Alejandro Serrano Saunders completed their high school education at The Windsor Boys' School from 2011 to 2016, earning a High School Diploma. Alejandro then pursued their undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Glasgow from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. As part of their educational journey, they also spent an exchange year at UC Santa Barbara from 2018 to 2019, furthering their studies in Psychology. In addition to their formal education, Alejandro has obtained several certifications, including Strategic Thinking from the Project Management Institute, Global Health: An Interdisciplinary Overview from the University of Geneva, Psychological First Aid from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Introduction to Data Analysis Using Google Spreadsheet from Google, NHS Scottish Mental Health First Aider from NHS Scotland, and Mind Your Mate Suicide Prevention Training from the Glasgow University Students' Representative Council.
