Adedoyin Adeleke, PhD, serves as the Executive Director at Green Growth Africa since November 2016, where notable initiatives include the "Mentoring for Research Programme," which has successfully supported 173 graduate students across 27 African countries and the Environmental Education Programme that empowers secondary school students to address local environmental challenges. In addition, Adedoyin is a Research Fellow and Fellow at SESAM Polimi, contributing to energy access research and participating in major European-funded projects. As a Contributing Author for the UN Environment Programme’s GEO-7 Report, there is a focus on leveraging extensive knowledge regarding the interaction between energy access and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Adedoyin's extensive experience includes roles as an Independent Consultant, Freelance Contributor for RenewableEnergyWorld.com, and Country Contributor to REN21, alongside a strong academic background that includes a PhD in Energy from Politecnico di Milano and multiple relevant degrees from prestigious institutions.
