Bashir Dan is a highly engaged leader in environmental initiatives, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Stack Carbon since May 2023, where strategic direction is centered on impactful carbon offset projects. Additionally, Bashir contributes to Oxford Net Zero as a Youth Advisory Board Member, focusing on integrating justice and equity in climate policy. As a thought leader and author at illuminem, along with roles as a Peer Educator with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), and a founding member of the Green Guild Foundation, Bashir fosters collaboration among environmental advocates to promote sustainable practices. Further involvement includes membership in the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration Youth Task Force and the UNEP Stockholm+50 Youth Task Force. Educational qualifications include studies at the University of London and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
