Feng Wang

Feng Wang is a seasoned expert in environmental sustainability and waste management, with extensive experience in roles related to electronic waste and circular economy initiatives. As a Visiting Researcher at Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek, Feng developed a statistical tool for estimating national e-waste flows and established a methodology for the European Commission's WEEE Directive. Feng served as a Programme Officer at UNEP from 2015 to 2020, focusing on Life Cycle Thinking, Sustainable Production, and Circular Economy. Additionally, Feng coordinated the UNEP Plastics Initiative and previously held a Research Associate position at the United Nations University, where research on e-waste garnered international attention and aimed to improve treatment infrastructures in developing countries.
