Jose Dallo is a seasoned professional in environmental management and sustainable development, currently serving as the Director of the Office of Environmental Management and Mineral Resources at the International Seabed Authority since August 2022. In addition, Jose holds the position of Senior Environmental and Sustainable Development Officer with the United Nations and has led the Southern Cone Office of UNEP since May 2015. Jose's extensive experience includes roles as a Policy Advisor at UNDOCO and UNDP, where involvement in the UN Task Team for the SDGs was notable. With a foundational background in development and international economics, Jose has also contributed significantly to the AECID in various leadership capacities and served as an advisor at Alcaldia Leon. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Development Economics and International Development from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a diverse educational background in law and economics from multiple institutions.
