Michael Asquith

Michael Asquith is a Senior Environmental Science and Policy Advisor at the UN Environment Programme, where they focus on integrating science and policy to support the Sustainable Development Goals. Since 2015, they led efforts at the European Environment Agency, authoring key reports on sustainability transitions and managing the flagship SOER reports. With a strong background in sustainability assessments and stakeholder collaboration, Michael excels at transforming complex ideas into clear communications. They hold an MSc in Sustainable Development from SOAS University of London and a PgCert in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London.
