Pascal P. has extensive experience in environmental sciences and sustainable development, currently serving as the Director of GRID-Geneva and Head of the Global Change & Vulnerability Unit at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) since October 2009. In addition, Pascal P. has been a Professor at the University of Geneva since January 2016, focusing on topics such as planetary boundaries, adaptation to climate change, and emerging environmental issues. Prior roles include serving as Scientific Coordinator for the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction and leading the Early Warning Unit at the University of Geneva. Pascal P. holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of Lausanne and multiple master's degrees from James Cook University and the University of Geneva.
