Patrick Scheel

Patrick Scheel is a Consultant at the UN Environment Programme since May 2021, with previous experience as an intern. Currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Sustainable Resource Management at the Technical University of Munich, Patrick supports the chair of Terrestrial Ecology on the Biodiversity Exploratories Project, focusing on arthropod diversity in German forests. Prior roles include Sustainability Coordinator at Autlán Grupo Ferrominero, where Patrick managed sustainable practices and community engagement, and Project Coordinator at CEMEX, analyzing alternative fuels. Patrick's diverse educational background includes a B.S. in Sustainable Development Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a concentration in Environmental Studies from Monash University, and a Technical Diploma in Music from Da Capo Escuela de Música.
