Michel BITEMO is an experienced professional in strategic information, monitoring, and evaluation with a strong focus on HIV/AIDS programs. Currently serving as a Strategic Information Advisor for Monitoring and Evaluation at ONUSIDA in the Republic of Congo since March 2011, Michel BITEMO oversees the evaluation of national responses to HIV/AIDS. Prior to this, Michel held the position of Director of Demographic and Social Statistics at the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies from October 1981 to July 1991, responsible for the collection and analysis of demographic data. Michel also served as the General Director of Population at the Ministry of Health and Population from December 2004 to January 2009, coordinating population and development programs with UNFPA.
