Phyumar Soe

Phyumar Soe is a medical epidemiologist and PhD student at the University of British Columbia, where they recently completed their PhD defense. With over a decade of experience in infectious disease epidemiology, vaccine safety, and program evaluation, Phyumar has played a significant role in enhancing public health initiatives globally. Currently affiliated with BC Children's Hospital Research Institute, they contribute to the Canadian National Vaccine Safety Network, focusing on vaccine safety through data analysis and collaboration. Phyumar has also worked with UNAIDS as an independent consultant, developing strategic plans and conducting assessments for HIV/AIDS programs.
