David Goff has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. David started their career at Key Physicians IPA as the Medical Director and a board member, where they implemented performance and quality programs for a network of physicians. David then worked at NC Medicaid as the Medical Director of Quality Improvement, focusing on projects such as a statewide asthma collaborative and an ADHD collaborative. After that, they served as the Medical Director & Clinical Professor at East Carolina University, where they were responsible for developing new systems and programs to improve quality and patient safety. David then became the Chief Clinical Officer at Wake Health Services, overseeing six community health centers and ensuring compliance with Patient Centered Medical Home guidelines. Following that, they served as the Chief Medical Officer at CommWell Health, a community health center focused on providing comprehensive healthcare to underserved populations. Currently, David is the Medical Director at UNC Physicians Network, where they coordinate clinical provider services and works on improving quality and outcomes for urgent care centers.

David Goff attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine from 1977 to 1981, earning a MD degree in Medicine. In 2004 to 2005, they studied Business with a focus on Medical finance at the American College of Physician Executives.
