Kyle Melvin currently serves as the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Director and Hospitalist Physician at UNC Chatham, as well as a Primary Care Physician with the UNC Physicians Network since July 2021. In addition, Kyle holds the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor and directs the UNC Rural Medicine Summer Academy, co-founding the UNC Family Medicine Summer Academy, which supports high school seniors from rural North Carolina interested in healthcare careers. Previously, Kyle was a Resident Physician in the University of North Carolina Department of Family Medicine until June 2021. Kyle completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences and Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2011 to 2015, followed by a medical degree from the same institution from 2015 to 2018.
