Brian Donovan

Brian Donovan has a diverse work experience in the financial and trading industry. Brian is currently employed at Unchained as the Vice President of Trading, a position they have held since January 2024. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of OTC Trading at Unchained from January 2021 to January 2024.

Before joining Unchained, Brian worked at Anderson High School as the Program Director and Varsity Head Coach, a position they have held since May 2022. Brian also served as the Youth Director and Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Anderson High School from October 2020 to May 2022.

Brian's previous experience includes working as a Sales Trader at Tagomi from November 2019 to February 2020. Brian also held the role of Executive VP of Institutional Sales at BitOoda from November 2018 to November 2019. In this role, they formulated cryptocurrency structured products, advised on hedging programs for crypto-mining operations, and executed block orders for institutional clients.

In the past, Brian worked as a Senior Commodities Trader and Portfolio Manager at First New York from July 2017 to September 2018. Brian also held the position of Commodities Trader at DV Trading LLC from October 2016 to June 2017.

Brian began their career as a Junior Commodities Trader at First New York from April 2013 to September 2016. Brian also worked as an Energy Derivatives Broker at Forward Insight Commodities LLC from January 2012 to March 2013, and as an Intern at Pulse Trading, Inc. from February 2011 to April 2011.

Brian Donovan attended Tufts University from 2007 to 2011 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Smithtown High School East from 2003 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Brian has also obtained several certifications, including the Series 4 certification from FINRA, the Series 63 certification from NASAA, the Series 7 certification from FINRA, and the Series 3 certification from the National Futures Association.
