Sofia Sivilotti

Sofia Sivilotti is a Technical Implementation Associate at Uncountable Inc. since September 2025. Prior to this role, Sofia served as an Algorithms Course Assistant at the Siebel School of Computing and Data Science, where responsibilities included grading homework and leading discussions for a large class. As a Research Assistant in Dr. Nick Jackson's Lab at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Sofia focused on applying machine learning to chemistry for autonomous materials discovery. Previous experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Disruption Lab at Gies, where Sofia developed a machine learning model for financial portfolio optimization, and as a Research Assistant at The Ohio State University, where Sofia identified transition states of drug molecules. Sofia holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
