Will Tashman

Founder at Uncountable

Will Tashman is the founder of Uncountable, and they have a long history of working in product design and engineering. Will started their career as an intern at Lunera Lighting, where they explored new materials for better heat conduction between LED’s and heat sinks. Will also helped design new LED fixtures and prototype versions for optical and thermal data, including the design of PCBs through vendors.

After their internship, Will became a product design engineer at Apple. Will worked there from September 2013 to May 2016. During their time at Apple, Will assisted product design groups with analysis of failed units to determine failure mechanisms and validate future design implementations. Will also characterized novel materials for surface properties, including hardness, roughness, and scratch-resistance. Will used techniques such as SEM/EDS, X-ray, CT scan, interferometry, and microscopy to examine samples.

Will was also a two-year captain of the MIT Basketball team from September 2009 to June 2013.

Will Tashman graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering.
