🕵️ Jim Brown

Jim Brown's work experience includes a variety of roles and positions across different companies. In 2019, they co-founded and became the CEO of Uncovered, a software platform aimed at solving cold cases of murdered or missing people. 🕵️ Jim believes in using citizen detective communities to reduce the need for law enforcement and influence public policy.

From 2016, they worked as a Sales Coach at SalesTuners, a sales enablement firm focused on helping tech companies increase pipeline, qualify opportunities, and improve sales performance.

Since 2022, Jim has been an investor at Ad Fontes Media, a public benefit corporation that rates news sources for bias and reliability.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship and advisory roles, Jim took a break in 2018 to travel the world with their wife after facing a business failure.

Jim Brown completed their education history with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, which they pursued from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, in 2001, they attended the Defense Information School for Design and Visual Communications for a brief period. Before their higher education, Jim graduated from Columbus North High School in 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Jim also obtained two professional certifications. In September 2015, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. In March 2012, they achieved an Honors Distinction for the Inbound Marketing Certification from Inbound Marketing University.
