Arlette Verploegh

Arlette Verploegh has extensive experience at UNCTAD since September 1994, holding several prominent positions, including Head of Entrepreneurship Development, Head of Communications and External Relations, Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Secretary-General, and Chief in the Office of the Director of the Division on Technology and Logistics. Arlette has successfully managed programmes and projects focused on business development and online platforms. Prior to this, Arlette completed an internship at UNFCCC in early 1992. Arlette earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in National Law with a specialization in International Law from Leiden University between 1985 and 1993.
