Loic Sinquin has a diverse and extensive background in maritime and port management. From September 2016 to November 2020, Loic served as commandant de port at DDTM06 and continued in the same role at Grand Port Maritime de Bordeaux from July 2021 to August 2024, also holding the position of commandant de port adjoint. Additionally, Loic's leadership roles extend to the International Harbour Masters Association, where Loic has been Vice-président since August 2024 and serves as président du comité européen des commandants de port. Loic previously worked as commandant adjoint du Grand Port Maritime de la Martinique from 2014 to 2016 and gained maritime experience as Officier de la marine marchande at EXMAR shipmanagement from 2009 to 2014. Academic credentials include a Baccalauréat S from Lycées Saint Joseph Sete, a master’s degree in marine transportation from Ecole supérieure de Navigation d'Anvers, and a master’s degree in maritime and port law from Université des Antilles. In addition, starting from November 2025, Loic has taken on the role of President de jury for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
