Muhammad Kattan is an experienced IT Expert at the UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) since September 2012, specializing in the implementation and support of the ASYCUDA system for the National Customs Service (NCS). Responsibilities include providing technical advice, assisting in procurement specifications, and delivering training courses on the system's operation and maintenance. Prior to UNCTAD, Kattan served as Head of Programming Section at Syrian Customs, where duties included server installation and configuration. Additionally, experience includes consulting roles with UNCTAD ASYCUDA and programming positions at AMS and the Computer and Communications Engineering Center. Kattan holds a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems from The Arab Academy for Management, Banking, and Financial Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Aleppo University.
