Sean Kidney

Sean Kidney is a prominent leader in sustainable finance, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the Climate Bonds Initiative since November 2010, where management involves overseeing a global team of 150 individuals dedicated to mobilizing capital for climate solutions. In addition to this role, Sean Kidney holds several influential positions including membership on the Platform on Sustainable Finance with the European Commission, the Sustainable Finance Advisory Panel for the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and the Finance Industry Advisory Board at the International Energy Agency. Moreover, Sean Kidney serves on the Sustainable Investment Advisory Council for UNCTAD and is a Professor in Practice at SOAS University of London.
