Seul Lee is an experienced economic affairs professional with a focus on trade and capacity building in developing regions. Currently serving as an Associate Economic Affairs Officer at UNCTAD since September 2018, Seul Lee has led a project to enhance trade capabilities in eight Pacific island countries under the Pacific Agreement on Closer Economic Relations Plus. Prior experience includes a consultancy role at EBRD, contributing to procurement law harmonization, and project management at UNCTAD analyzing Non-Tariff Measures in Asia. Additional positions at the International Trade Centre involved legal analyses and the preparation of briefing materials on trade policies, while an internship at the European Union Delegation provided insights into trade monitoring with Korea. Seul Lee possesses a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from Yonsei University, complemented by exchange study at Keio University.
