Torbjörn Fredriksson

Torbjörn Fredriksson has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Torbjörn began their career as a Researcher at the Industrial Institute for Economic and Social Research (IUI) in 1992. Torbjörn then moved on to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in 1994, where they served as the Head of Section. In 1996, they joined the Invest in Sweden Agency as a Research Manager. In 2000, Torbjörn joined UNCTAD, where they held multiple positions, including Economic Affairs Officer, OIC of the Policy Issues Section in the Investment Division, Chief ICT Policy Section, and most recently, Head of the E-commerce and Digital Economy Branch. Torbjörn has been with UNCTAD since 2000 and continues to contribute in their role as Head.

Torbjörn Fredriksson graduated with a Master's Degree in Economics and International Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics in the period of 1987 to 1991. Additionally, Torbjörn attended Adolf Fredriks Musikskola, but the specific details regarding the duration, degree, and field of study are unknown.
