Amber Ferrell

Amber Ferrell currently serves as the Program Director for Returning and Transfer Student Pathways at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a position held since November 2023. Previously, Amber acted as a Returning and Transfer Student Coordinator and worked for over a decade at James Sprunt Community College as a Counselor from August 2011 to October 2023. Prior counseling experience includes a role at Central Carolina Community College from July 2010 to July 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Community and School Counseling from Regent University (2008-2010) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Campbell University (2004-2007), along with foundational studies at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (2002-2004).
