Angela Housand, Ph.D., is an accomplished educator and researcher currently serving as Associate Dean and Associate Professor at the Watson College of Education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since July 2008. Housand has a robust track record of preparing teachers for K-12 educational settings through a focus on current research and best practices. Housand actively maintains a research agenda centered on the FutureCasting model for personal development and talent promotion while mentoring undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. With extensive teaching experience across various courses related to gifted education, Housand also plays a pivotal role as the Academically and Intellectually Gifted Graduate Program Coordinator, overseeing all academic activities and ensuring alignment with K-12 educational roles.
