Brittany Philbert

Brittany Philbert, Ed.D., serves as the Director of Residence Life at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since February 2017, with prior roles including Interim Associate Director and Assistant Director. Philbert's experience spans several institutions, including the University of Dayton where responsibilities included Community Coordinator for the South Student Neighborhood, overseeing over 2,000 upperclassmen, and Area Coordinator for Marycrest Residential Complex, housing 900 first-year students. Other positions held include Graduate Hall Director at Florida State University and Academic Specialist at Kean University. Philbert's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership-Higher Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice & History from La Salle University.
