David Levitz

David Levitz has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Lieutenant and Squad Supervisor in Operations/Patrol at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since September 2012, with a previous role as Sergeant and Detective focusing on Professional Standards, Training, and Recruitment. Prior to this, David worked as an Inspector at the North Carolina License and Theft Bureau and as a Police Officer in various capacities within the City of Raleigh Municipal Government. Additional experience includes roles as a Public Safety Officer and Loss Prevention Agent. David holds multiple educational credentials from institutions such as the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University, with specialized training from the NCDMV License & Theft Bureau Inspector School and the Raleigh Police Academy.
