Heather Roughton

Heather Roughton serves as the Senior Logistics & Data Management Operations Specialist at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, with a focus on coordinating academic course scheduling and ensuring compliance with institutional policies within the College of Health & Human Services. Since 2015, Heather has played a key role in managing over 800 courses each term, generating and analyzing various data sets for College leadership, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement best practices for space utilization. Additional responsibilities include overseeing student retention forms, providing editorial expertise on policy development, and reviewing applications for advanced degree programs. Heather is actively involved in several committees and has held multiple roles throughout a diverse career, including positions at Winter Park Discount Drug, Inc. and the Career Center at UNCW, with a strong educational background in professional writing and medical communication.
