Jared Kerr

Jared Kerr is an accomplished professional in clinical research and academic leadership, currently serving as Commissioner of the Committee on Accreditation of Academic Programs in Clinical Research (CAAPCR) since October 2024 and as President of the Consortium of Academic Programs in Clinical Research (CoAPCR) since July 2024. At the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Kerr holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor and Graduate Program Coordinator for the Clinical Research Graduate Program, while also previously serving as an Assistant Professor in the same field. Prior experience includes a senior director role at PPD, a consultancy at Eli Lilly and Company, and research fellowship roles at the CDC and Samford University. Kerr's educational qualifications encompass a Juris Doctorate and a Master's in Public Health, alongside certifications in Life Sciences Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology.
