Jessica Weinkle

Jessica Weinkle is an Associate Professor of Public and International Affairs at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, with prior experience as an Assistant Professor in the same department since January 2015. Currently serving as a Senior Fellow at the Breakthrough Institute, Jessica Weinkle has held various research positions, including Model Analyst and Researcher at iCat and Researcher, Graduate Student, and Postdoc at the Center for Science and Technology Policy Research at the University of Colorado Boulder. Jessica Weinkle holds a PhD in Environmental Studies and Public Policy from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Master of Arts in Climate and Society from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from The University of Texas at Austin. Additional experience includes roles as an Energy Specialist at the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, teaching at Miami Dade College, and research assistant positions at Columbia University and The University of Texas at Austin.
