Leslie K. Wright

Leslie K. Wright serves as the Assistant Director at the UNCW Career Center, with a tenure beginning in November 2002, and has held various liaison roles to multiple colleges throughout the years. Since July 2023, Leslie has been the liaison to the College of Science & Engineering. Previous roles include similar positions for the Social Sciences and Technologies and the Cameron School of Business. Leslie has extensive experience in counseling and coaching clients through their career transitions, while also instructing freshman students to help them acclimate to college life. Prior to UNCW, Leslie was the Assistant Director at the Career Management Center at Old Dominion University, overseeing career development for Health Sciences and Information Technology students, and held graduate and undergraduate positions in the same center. Leslie holds a Master’s degree in Counselor Education and a Bachelor's degree in Education/Human Services Counseling, both from Old Dominion University.
