Margaret Tabone

Margaret Tabone is an experienced academic coordinator currently working at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since February 2022. Prior to this role, Tabone served as an Assistant Football Academic Coordinator at the University of Minnesota, where responsibilities included academic progress monitoring and strategic planning for student-athletes. Tabone also has experience in education as a Building Substitute Teacher with the Churchville-Chili Central School District and as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at both St. John Fisher College and Daemen College. Additionally, Tabone worked as a Program Director for the Girl Scouts of Western New York, where event planning and activity development were key responsibilities. Academic support roles include peer tutoring at Utica College and serving as a Student Ambassador. Tabone holds a Master's degree in Sport Administration from Canisius University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from Utica University.
