Michelle Manning

Michelle Manning is a highly experienced educator and marketing professional with a diverse background in teaching and leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the English Department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington since 2004, Michelle also holds the position of VP of Marketing at Little Houses for Big Events since October 2013, overseeing marketing for innovative solar-powered event spaces. Prior roles include serving as a Literacy Coach at East Ridge High School and a Visiting Instructor at the University of Central Florida, where courses in composition and creative writing were taught. Michelle began a teaching career as an English Instructor at New Hanover High School and has a strong academic foundation with an MFA in Creative Writing and an MA in English from UNCW, complemented by a Bachelor's in Secondary Education and a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
